AIMEX 2027 to host inaugural Asia-Pacific Mining Investment Summit

A new investment-focused event will bring together mining companies, investors and capital providers from across the region at the inaugural Asia-Pacific Mining Investment Summit (APMI Summit) launching in Adelaide in 2027.

Taking place on 29–30 September 2027 at the Adelaide Showgrounds alongside the Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Expo (AIMEX) 2027, the APMI Summit will provide a dedicated platform for exploration companies, emerging producers and established mining companies to connect directly with institutional investors, fund managers, analysts and investment advisers.

The APMI Summit will support greater investment engagement across the resources sector, as demand for critical minerals, battery minerals and future-facing commodities continues to grow, and companies seek the capital required to advance projects from exploration through to development and growth.

Delivered by Prime Creative Media, the APMI Summit builds on the company’s established role in connecting the resources and wealth management sectors through leading industry events and media platforms.

Prime Creative Media is the organiser behind some of Australia’s leading mining and resources events, including the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition, the Hunter Valley Mining Expo and WA Mining Conference & Exhibition, alongside a portfolio of industry publications and digital platforms.

In the wealth management space, Prime Creative Media publishes leading titles including Money Management, Investor Daily, Independent Financial Adviser, Super Review, and SMSF Adviser, along with leading awards events such as Fund Manager of the Year and the Australian Wealth Management Summit.

Supported through strategic partnerships with the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association (SIAA) and Mines In The Vines, the APMI Summit will strengthen connections between resource companies and Australia’s investment community.

Prime Creative Media CEO Christine Clancy said the launch of the APMI Summit comes at a significant time for the resources industry, with strong demand for quality projects and new investment pathways.

“Mining companies need meaningful opportunities to connect with investors who understand the sector and the long-term potential of resource projects,” Clancy said.

“The Asia-Pacific Mining Investment Summit has been designed to create those connections, bringing together companies seeking capital and investors looking for the next generation of resources opportunities.”

The two-day event will feature an investor-focused conference program, where participating mining companies will present their projects, strategies and growth opportunities directly to an audience of active investors and industry professionals.

A dedicated Investment Pavilion will provide a focused environment for investment-ready companies to meet potential partners, showcase opportunities and build relationships with capital providers.

The APMI Summit will highlight opportunities across base metals, precious metals, battery minerals, critical minerals and other resource sectors, supporting companies seeking investment to progress exploration, development and future growth.

Through its partnership with the SIAA, the APMI Summit will strengthen engagement between mining companies and investment professionals who play a critical role in Australia’s capital markets.

SIAA CEO Maria Lykouras said the partnership would provide an opportunity to support important conversations shaping the future of the resources sector.

“SIAA Principal Members play an active role in raising capital for the Australian mining sector, contributing to economic growth across Australia,” Lykouras said.

“Being part of the APMI Summit provides an opportunity for us to contribute to important discussions around the key factors, challenges and opportunities impacting the sector today and into the future.”

Adding to the event’s repertoire, the APMI Summit has also partnered with Mines In The Vines to create a dedicated environment for resource leaders, investors and key industry stakeholders to connect, fostering conversations and relationships that can help shape future investment opportunities.

Mines In The Vines Founder Nathan Lodge said the partnership would bring a unique investor engagement experience to the inaugural event.

“We are delighted to partner with Prime Creative Media to bring the Mines In The Vines Investor Access experience to the APMI Summit,” Lodge said.

“Our goal is to create meaningful connections between presenting companies and our curated investor network in a relaxed, high-quality environment that encourages genuine conversations and supports long-term relationships.”

The APMI Summit will offer mining companies an integrated opportunity to showcase projects, engage with investors and build relationships that support future growth across the sector.

Mining companies, investors, advisers and industry leaders are invited to be part of the inaugural APMI Summit and help build the connections that will define the next generation of resources investment.
